It is the first official day of summer. And we are announcing the winners of the Summer Contest: 3 Ways to Win. 

Our first winner, getting a Treecko is Bailey, who told us Treecko is in fact his favorite Pokemon.

Second winner, getting a Torchick is Tsubasa1, who unfortunately was the only one on twitter who was not a bot that entered.

And finally, getting a Mudkip Timothy, who showed us that his front yard is the perfect place to be playing Pokemon this summer.

This weekend is the unofficial start to Summer. While Summer is only a month away, we are using that time to hold another contest!

To celebrate the start of Summer and the brand new revamp to parts of Pokenav.net (commenting system and profiles), we are giving away one of each of the three starters from the most Summer-ry region we know. Care to guess?

Thats right, you can win either a Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip. To enter, you must first have a legal copy of Pokemon (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver). However unlike previous contests, there is a different method to win each of them, heck, you can even win 2 or all 3 of them. Contest details below:

We haven't had a contest in a few months now, but what better time to bring you one then 2 weeks before the Chinese Spring Festival. Being the year of the Tiger, what better Pokemon to give away than a Raikou? What are the rules you ask? Simple:

Zodiac Predictions for 2010

The Tiger
For their own year, the Tigers will face a surprisingly average year with little ups and downs. After the success of our first contest, we’re doing another one. The rules are simple, just post a comment under this post telling us what you consider the scariest Pokemon to be. You can post as many times as you want but only once a day. 

The contest ends November 12th and the winner will receive a Giratina. The winner will be picked at random so to improve your chances, be sure to post everyday!

First and for most I like to say thank you to everyone who participated in our Darkrai giveaway. Although we would like to give one to everyone of you, we only have one on us. 

However don’t be disappointed, our admin team is already working on new contests and giveaways for the near future. 

So our panel of judges, which included 1 website developer, 1 moderator, and 2 Pokemon fans, has come up with the results. We gave points depending on how much detailed information was given and we gave extra points for unique ideas. This means that if you had detailed information but a common move set you are in the same boat as those who had unique ideas but did not explain in detail.

Hey guys, it’s almost been a year since we first started the Pokenav and what better way to celebrate then to give away a Pokemon. And what which Pokemon to give away but everyone’s latest favorite, Darkrai. That’s right, we have a Darkrai from last year’s movie Dialga vs Palkia vs Darkrai straight out of Japan. This is a way for us to say thank you to everyone who has used our service in the last year, and we want to say thank you to everyone who will continue to use the Pokenav to the fullest. 

So what do you need to do to win this contest? We want to hear the best and most unique Pokemon move set.
